I feel God sends signs to the lower rank of life with symbols especially with the plus sign symbol it's more important than the ying yang which is part of humans history in stories and what lesson they learnt from a plus sign. In every historical featuring of a plus sign symbol, many great lessons were learned through a deep pondering of a plus sign.
